Congratulations to all competitors!
A substantial amount of rain fell before the beginning of the event, leading to trying conditions for event organisers.
In a social media post following the event, organisers thanked all involved for ensuring the event went ahead:
“The conditions were challenging for all involved but we are so proud of our team and committee for rising to the occasion and doing everything possible to make the event continue – the cross country team did a phenomenal job adding gravel, mulch, moving jumps and so much more to get the footing to be quite good by Sunday.
“Thank you to the competitors this weekend for your support and understanding as we had to make so many changes to warm up areas, parking, dressage arenas, times etc. the event still ran smoothly with everyone’s positive ‘go with the flow’ attitudes.”
