TTT Showing a successful return to competition

After a tough couple of years with lockdowns, Goulburn Valley Equestrian Club (GVEC) was determined to run the HRCAV Top Teams Trophy (TTT) for Showing this year – and so they did, running a very successful competition at Elmore Events Centre on 12 December.
“Since we hadn’t had a TTT Show since 2019, although touch and go there for a while, we made it!” says GVEC Secretary Jenni Bowles.
“We were able to get many great sponsors on board to assist with prizes and the running of the show, and we are always very grateful to all our sponsors! Horseland was our main naming sponsor and provided us with the lovely Team and Highpoint rugs for the winners of those areas.”
The day started off well, with many choosing to stay and camp over the night before, taking this opportunity to catch up with some friends that haven’t been seen for a while. The weather was warm but sunny and a slight breeze in the morning made it pleasant.
With seven rings being held on the one day, it was all systems go! It was a very busy day for the hosting GVEC members to keep the flow of the show all day.
‘A big thank you to our wonderful judges who did an amazing job deciding winners and placegetters over the day,” continues Jenni. “The competition was very strong in every ring and this would have made for a great day for judging! Thank you to Sherrie (Lee) Nugent, Karen Cook, Mandy Organ, Johanna Sabaliauskas, Regina Knoble, Kim Howard and Sally Mizzi for a wonderful day!
“Another thank you goes to Lucinda Mack for her ongoing support before the show and the tireless job of putting the draw together, the breed awards and scoring all day. And a wonderful support to the GVEC members, we are very thankful for your time and work you put in!”
