Tune in to watch the Australians at ‘Future Champions’

By Equestrian Life

Eight Australian riders are set to contest the Future Champions competition starting today in Hagen, Germany.

Emma Hutchinson, Maddison Vallender, Tia Rose McKenzie, Rosemary Heagney, Jessica Dertell, Abby Weel, Zali Mills and Morgan Cockerell will all ride their first tests on Thursday with borrowed horses.

You can read more about the event and each of the riders in the June issue of Equestrian Life here.

There is a familiar name among the horses, with Jessica’s ride – nine-year-old Royal And Proud – previously competed by fellow Australian Simone Pearce with success at Small Tour level. The mare was sold to Hof Kasselmann (P.S.I.) earlier this year.
