About the Volkswagen World Championship Gold Buckle Campdraft

The Volkswagen World Championship Gold Buckle Campdraft, which runs from 13-15 May, draws huge crowds and it’s just as exhilarating to watch as it is to compete. The annual event is one of Australia’s richest campdrafts with a whopping $286,000 in prize money up for grabs, including $100,000 for the winner of the prestigious Gold Buckle final on the last day.

Can Nebo’s Pete Comiskey achieve the Gold Buckle hat trick after winning the premier class in 2018 and 2019?

This year, spectators on-site will have the chance to watch on from a brand new 330-seat grandstand overlooking the ‘camp’. If you’re unable to attend the event, be sure to tune in to the live stream.

You can read more about campdrafting and the Volkswagen World Championship Gold Buckle Campdraft in the May issue of Equestrian Life magazine.
