Four-time Olympic gold medal winning horse, TSF Dalera BB, the longtime partner of Jessica von Bredow-Werndl, welcomed a black filly named Dolce Vita BB by Vitalis.
Retired from the sport in 2024 at age 17, Dalera has embraced her new role as a mum, with the arrival of her first foal marking an exciting new chapter.
“She’s here and she’s just wonderful!” von Bredow-Werndl shared on socials. “The BB in the name stands for Dalera’s owner Beatrice Burchler-Keller – she’s already on her way to us.”

Australian Olympian Lyndal Oatley also celebrated the arrival of a foal from her CDI Grand Prix mare Elvive.
The mare delivered a bay filly, Dante’s Evviva, by Dante Weltino. Elvive had originally qualified for the Australian team for the Tokyo Olympic Games , but during the pandemic Oatley chose not to risk the travel.
In 2022 Elvive underwent colic surgery. Although she successfully returned to competition, the decision was eventually made to retire her to stud, with hopes that her offspring may one day fly the flag for Australia in the international arena.
