Warwick McLean wins in Le Mans

Warwick McLean has won the CDI2* Intermediate II at an international dressage event at Le Mans in France, scoring 70.931% with Jack 483 (Johnson x Dimension) — an 11-year-old gelding owned by Warwick, his wife Carolina and her family. The judges were unanimous in placing the pair at the top of the results table.
 
Fellow Aussie Rebecca Rooke placed fourth and sixth in the same class with Forento (66.961%) and Muschamp Rap’n Roll (64.706%).
 
Earlier at the event, Warwick placed second in the CDI2* Intermediate B with Jack 483 on 66.487%, with Rebecca Rooke third and fifth with Forento and Muschamp Rap’n Roll. Riding Jonathan S, a 12-year-old gelding by Johnson TN out of Madonna (Rohdiamant), Warwick was ninth in the CDI1* Prix St Georges and later sixth in the CDI1* Intermediate, scoring 66.372%. 
 
In the young horses classes, Warwick partnered with Abtwald’s Goetterfunke to finish sixth in the 6YO Preliminary test with 81.6%, achieving a qualifying score for the FEI World Young Horse Championships, while Rebecca Rooke was third in the 7YO Preliminary Test and second in the 7YO Final Test with Pour Andrig de Barroue.
