Wild horses survive Hurricane Dorian

The wild horses that roam on the outer banks of the beaches in North Carolina were unfazed last week, as Hurricane Dorian caused havoc in the area. The raging storms were no match for the herd of sturdy horses, which survived the wild weather.

The Corolla Wild Horse Fund posted a series of photos and updates after the storm, which confirmed their expectations, which were that the tough wild horses would survive the storm.

“The storm has passed and things at the farm are good! No major damage. Lots of water but it should drain quickly. Nothing these beach ponies aren’t used to,” explained the Corolla Wild Horse Fund.

These wild horses know exactly what to do when faced with this type of weather, as they have been surviving it for centuries! When this type of weather hits, the wild horses move to higher ground, and gather under strong and sturdy trees for shelter.
