Will Matthews has wrapped up a successful show at Schafhofs Dressurfestival in Kronberg, Germany on Saturday, finishing 11th on 69.106% in the CDI4* Grand Prix Special with Mysterious Star.
Will and Mysterious Star qualified for the Special following their 10th placing on 69.63% in the CDI4* Grand Prix on Friday.
The 11-year-old Oldenburg gelding, by Métall out of a Fürst Heinrich mare, is owned by Stephanie Göller and has been ridden by Will since he was a five-year-old.
“I’m really proud of Mysterious Star,” said Will following the test. “He has finally found his confidence in the Grand Prix, there is still lots to improve, but I feel like we can really focus on the small details now and not worry about him making the bigger mistakes because of inexperience. I’m really excited about the future with him.”
